‘Wan Shan Enjoying the Flute’

The expansive green to the left of Wanshan Temple is called Wanshan Garden. The Jianzi (Child Spirit) Memorial Garden was added more recently in memory of the wandering child spirit of the Kanglang highlands. While already separated by centuries of time, this place welcomes contemplation and the chance, perhaps, to hear the wafting sounds of a young boy picking out notes on his flute.
